Abi M. Knight is an award-winning Nigerian-American artist known for her deeply symbolic, surrealist paintings that explore the emotional complexity of race, identity, and belonging. A self-taught painter with a master’s degree in accounting, Knight left a successful corporate career to pursue art full-time — a leap that now defines her distinctive voice in the contemporary art world.
Her work has been exhibited in acclaimed institutions around the world, including the Montresso Art Foundation (Morocco), Galerie Droste (Germany), Rele Gallery (LA), C24 Gallery (NYC), and the African American Museum of Dallas. She was awarded the prestigious Hopper Prize, recognized by Saatchi Art as a Rising Star Under 35, and has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, D Magazine, Artland, and Artsy.
Knight lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
